Contouring palette Essence The Little X-Mas Factory
Hello, my Sweeties!
Today I want to introduce you contouring palette The Little X-Mas Factory by Essence.
I am not the master of the hard contouring, and do not use cream cosmetics for this purpose. But easy contouring it’s quite another thing! Because it remains in a trend. So happy to show you a contouring palette and tell about all its proses and cons.
I want to start with the design and it’s the first and very “fat” pros. Look at this bow. It is so cute! It is a pity to spoil it and wash. It spoils quickly, especially with a light side. Even a light touch with a soft brush left marks on it. So either admire and collect, or actively use and do not think about it . In the palette, as seen in the photo, there is no mirror and brush. But I’m not confused. Usually I have a mirror only with powder and I always have in my bag functional sliding brush kabuki. And unnecessary increase in cost is not always pleasant.
Palette, as you can see, consists of two shades, one to create shadows on the face and second for the highlights and give glow to certain areas. The scheme of application is offered on the back of the palette. Everyone plays with light and shadow on his face according to the needed adjustments. However, the general principles exists. Namely – the application of a dark shade under the cheekbone to highlight it and highlighter on the highest point of the cheekbones. Highlight the line eyebrows, nose correction and facial contours are also widely used, but according to your preferences.
Most often I use it to contour cheekbones. The dark shade under the cheekbone to create shadows and light to the highest point. I will show you below.
The dark shade is matte and not so dark, and has medium pigmentation. This can be both a pros and a cons. Pros for snow white and those who is not master in contouring. A disadvantage for those who have a good command of this technique, and loves a good pigmentation. As for me, this is a pros. It is hard to apply too much and you will not look like a chipmunks. Dark shade himself – cold, but has a small drop of red. The photo turned out still slightly warmer than in real life.
Highlighter almost merged with my skin, but it gives me a light bleaching effect. Contains shimmer, not much but still visible on the swatch. In this palette shimmer does not practically carry to the dark shade, so everything looks neat except for the damaged bow . Both shades do not raise dust and make-up quite persistent.
Contouring palette presented in one shade and it is clearly designed for light-skinned girls. I have light medium skin tone in winter, and this palette is good for me. I use very often dark shades. It turns easy contouring which is suitable for daytime makeup. If you want it certainly can be layered. But I just do not need this. Light shade is also in vogue. I have nothing against shimmer in highlighter, if it is certainly not looks like for the carnival. Although this could be useful for special occasions . In this palette, it is not very catchy, and it can be seen in the final make-up. But if you do not like the shimmer – it’s not for you. I did not use blush in make-up and not detract from the demonstration palette colors.
Sculptor even slightly layered, as the camera “eats” color. Overall, I liked the palette. Who cares, look at the ingredients, you will not find parabens. And of course recall that the Essence does not test its products on animals. I can only warn about shades, they do not exactly fit to all. Ideal before buying it to get a tester.
That’s all, my Berries! Wish to all of you happy and light holidays. And how do you feel about contouring?
